Pedigree Cuts presents the first collaboration between singer-songwriters Geoff Smith & Elliot Ireland.
Dawn Songs is an album of inspired and beautifully haunting indie, dream pop songs.
This is the first release for Elliot Ireland outside of his successful moniker IKON and his funky breakbeat act Skeewiff with whom he’s had numerous hits including the most recent releases Skeewiff In Brazil and Made In France. Collaborations throughout his career include the likes of Finley Quaye, The Young MC, The Jungle Brothers, Ulrich Schnauss and Mark Peters (The Engineers).
Geoff Smith is better known to most as Loner, as whom he’s developed a unique sound of desolate pop; haunting ballads and shivering melodies. A classically trained pianist, his sound has bewitched many other artists and has seen him collaborate with Tim Simenon, Bomb The Bass, Caspa, Primal Scream and Sinead O’Connor to name a few.
